Speech of Thalapathy Vijay at Bigil Audio Launch Function

The audio from Vijay's much-awaited movie Bigil was formally released on Thursday, 19 September, at an engineering college on the outskirts of Chennai. The event was graced by the cast and crew of the Atlee Kumar-directorial flick.
The team members spoke about the movie and their experience one after the other, but it was Vijay's speech which remained the major attraction of the event.

Vijay started his speech with 'Verithanam' song, thereby making his fans go crazy at the venue. He praised Vivekh for his initiatives on environmental issues, while having positive word over the growth of Nayanthara.
Thalapathy claims that he took proper training to play the role of footballer in the movie and enjoyed playing games during the breaks. On a lighter note, the actor states that Yogi Babu did not attend the housing warming ceremony of his own house and hopes that he would not fail to turn up for his marriage.
The 45-year old  then turns philosophical as he compares the life to the football sports. "Life is also a game. People try to create roadblocks when we try to hit goals. Sometimes, people on our side hit goal in favour of the opposition (means: backstabing), but you don't try to imitate them," he said.
As expected, Vijay speaks about the death of Subashri, a 23-year old who lost her life after a truck ran over her after cut-out of an AIADMK leader fell on her. He prays for the respect for the departed soul.
On his posters and cutouts being damaged, "Do harm to me and my photos, but not to my fans."
Two-time Oscar Award winning musician AR Rahman has composed the music. His three songs like 'Singapenney,' 'Verithanam' and 'Unakaga' have been released and met with highly positive reviews from critics as well the cine-goers.
