SANGATHAMIZHAN - Movie Review
The film faced a lot of troubles before finally seeing the light on screen. Vijaya Productions have produced this film that is written and directed by Vijay Chander.
Familiarity breeds contempt! There is nothing in the film that is even remotely decent. Calling this film a rehash of old Telugu masala films would be an insult to them. The comedy in the film doesn’t pass muster. The action scenes do not suit the hero. The heroine tails the hero for no reason while the romance; you are reminded of it in the songs.

2. Soori's comic relief
3. Few engaging scenes of firsthalf
Minus:
1. Generic plot & Inconsistent screenplay
2. Secondhalf (Unbearable 'last 45 mins' with full of cliched events & a predictable twist)
3. Cinematography (irritating bright light behind hero in most scenes)
4. Songs (except peppy 'Kamala' number)
5. Weak antagonist
6. Climax
Bottomline: Sangathamizhan is another disappointing lacklustre film from VJS in the lines of his Vanmam, Rekka & Junga.
Verdict: Template mass commercial entertainer executed in a below-average fashion.
